Four persons including three of a family were killed in an accident on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway at Navsari in south Gujarat. The pile-up involved two cars, a motorcycle and a truck, police said on Saturday.

The mishap occurred last night when the driver of a car heading towards Surat lost control, hit the divider and entered the opposite lane before colliding with a truck. Another car hit the truck from behind while a motorcycle also rammed into that car.

The deceased included three persons in the car that collided with the truck and a man riding the two-wheeler, while four persons in another car sustained injuries. —PTI
