Nagpur: Vaibhav Tandulkar, aged about seven years, was reunited with his family a day after he had gone missing from a relative’s place at Gulshan Nagar in the outskirts of the city on Friday. The boy’s disappearance led to registration of a case of kidnapping at Kalamna police station. It was good Samaritan Prakash Pohune whose efforts helped the boy return to his family.
Sources said Vaibhav, a resident of Hingna, had come to Gulshan Nagar with his mother Jaya to attend a marriage. Vaibhav was playing with younger sister in front of the house when he sneaked away to attend a Mahaprasad near the relative’s place. It’s learnt that later Vaibhav started walking towards Kamptee before losing way back to relative’s home.
Pahune, also a resident of Hingna who had come to Kalamna, spotted Vaibhav. Pahune took Vaibhav to Kamptee police station which today got an alert that a boy was missing from Kalamna. Kamptee police once again contacted Pahune asking him to take Vaibhav to Kalamna police station where he was reunited with his family.
