Marginal relief to MP’s denizens

Bhopal, Apr 23 (UNI) The mercury declined by one to two degrees today at several places in Madhya Pradesh, where Rewa was hottest at 42.6 Degree Celsius which was five notches above normal.
Malanjkhand registered 41.8 degreees, Khajuraho 41.4 C, Datia 41.2 C and Naugaon 41 C. The state capital recorded a maximum of 39 degrees, which was a mark below yesterday’s figure and normal.
Night temperature was 24.8 C, which was a couple of degrees above normal. Gwalior experienced a high of 39.4 C and Jabalpur 39.5 C, both being a notch below normal each. Indore recorded a high of 37.2 C, which was three marks below normal.
“Temperature fluctuation is caused due to moisture from the Arabian Sea. A western disturbance exists over Pakistan and consequent incoming moisture will cause cloud formation over Madhya Pradesh in the next 24 hours,” Regional Meteorological Centre official SK Dey told UNI.

A loo warning was issued for Gwalior, Sagar, Rewa, Jabalpur and Shahdol divisions.
