3 BJP candidates file nominations for MCD bypolls

New Delhi, Apr 23 (UNI) Three BJP candidates Jitender Singh Shunty, Nitin Tiwari and Bhupender Mohan Bhandari today filed their nomination papers from Jhilmil ward, Ballimaran and Shalimar Bagh North respectively for the MCD by-elections to be held on May 15.
Pradesh Incharge Shyam Jaju, MLA Om Prakash Sharma, former Akali Dal MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa accompanied Mr Shunty in filing the papers.
While Mr Tiwari was accompanied by BJP national secretary Sardar R P Singh, Chandni Chowk district president Suman Kumar Gupta and Chandni Chowk Councillor Surekha Hariom Gupta, former MLA Ram Kishan Singhal, Pradesh General Secretary Rekha Gupta, district president Sanjiv Sharma accompanied Mr Bhandari.
