Activist and author Zarina Patel, launched her book at the Goan Gymkana, Ngara road, Nairobi on Wednesday evening.
The In-Between World of Kenya’s Media, explores and documents the contribution of South Asian journalists and media practitioners in the twentieth century.
Zarina is well- known for her campaign to save the Jeevanjee Garden in Nairobi from land grabbers. She is the maternal granddaughter of Alibhai Mulla Jeevanjee, who donated the land to the town in 1906.
In attendance were Colour Print MD Anil Vidyarthi, former Energy Regulatory Commission chairman Hindpal Jabbal, Africapix Media CEO Sir Mohinder Dhillon.
The book is available at Bookstop, Yaya Centre and Textbook Centre, Sarit Centre in Nairobi, for Sh3500.
