Michael Mukshad Ali, a Gold Medallist from the School of Humanities and Arts dedicated his achievement to his mother Dhaerya Prakash as a pre-Mother’s Day Gift.

When interviewed, Ali said he was happy about the achievement but his major inspiration came from the two most important females he knew.

“My wife, Pritika Devi and my mum Dhaerya Prakash are my inspirations,” Mr Ali said. “I dedicate my achievement to my mum who has been very supportive all throughout.”

Mrs Prakash also said that she was very proud of his son and wished him the very best in future.

“My son has always made me proud and I wish the very best for his future endeavours,” Mrs Prakash said.

“He has always worked hard and where he is today is due to his hard work.”

Mr Ali is currently the head teacher of Nukuloa Primary School in Ba.
