Pakistan coaches to attend baseball clinic in China

LAHORE - Two national coaches will attend Baseball Federation of Asia (BFA) baseball coaches’ clinic being held in Nanjing, China from April 30.
Mussadiq Hanif and Syed Fakhar Ali Shah will attend the clinic being organised by the BFA with the cooperation of Major League Baseball (MLB), said Baseball Federation of Pakistan (BFP) spokesman here on Friday. "It is a very useful activity which aims at upgrading the existing knowledge of the participants helping them to develop the game in their respective countries on new lines,” he said.
He said Pakistan team’s training camp was in progress at Lahore for participation in the World Baseball Classic Qualifier 2016 scheduled to be held in Brooklyn New York, USA in September. “It is hoped that this clinic will provide the very best instructional training to our coaches to improve the performance of players in the camp.”
"The national baseball federation is striving for the cause of baseball in the country and it is taking every measure for the development of the game by ensuring participation of the national team in elite baseball events abroad besides arranging training of its technical officials for ensuring better future of the game in the country,” he asserted.
He added that the Major League Baseball Coaches (USA) provided professional instructions to the best coaches from China, Thailand, Indonesia, Iran, Sri Lanka, Iraq, Nepal, India, Mongolia, North Korea and Pakistan.
