SAMBA, Apr 22: The ongoing Sports Mela of Badminton tournament was declared open under Civic Action Programme organized by District Police Samba, today.
It was declared open by Virender Singh, DySP HQ Samba at SIDCO Complex, Samba in which the final matches under 14 years of age and under 19 years of age were played.
In the junior category i.e. under 14 years of age, Final match was played between Sakshi of Samba town and Ritik of Samba town, out of which Sakshi emerged the winner with 03 points whereas under the category of 19 years of age, Final Match was played between Rajpura Royals Vs. Jakh Super Hero, out of which Jakh Super Hero declared winner with 13 points.
The uniform kits were also distributed to the teams/players by Dy SP HQ Samba, Incharge PP SIDCO and prominent of the area. The matches for the Senior Category in Badminton shall start from tomorrow.
