‘Those who ignored my advice didn’t prosper’

Asks Siddaramaiah to immediately scrap the tender given to Matrix Imaging Solutions

April 23, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:38 am IST - Manglauru:

Senior Congress leader B. Janardhana Poojary has said that those who ignored his friendly caution with regard to righteous practices have not prospered in the Congress. He also asked Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to cancel the tender awarded to Matrix Imaging Solutions.

Speaking to presspersons here recently, Mr. Poojary said he had asked the former Chief Minister Devaraj Urs not to go against former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

However, Mr. Urs did not heed to his advice and everyone knows what happened later, he added. Similar was his advice to late S. Bangarappa and the reaction.

He had even asked late Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao to distance himself from ‘godman’ Chandraswami; but Rao too ignored his caution inviting trouble, Mr. Poojary said.

The media is going all out about the issue (Matrix) thereby severely denting the image of the party, the government and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. “Mr. Siddaramaiah, don’t you have common sense?” he asked.
