The Toronto Blue Jays have signed outfielder Michael Bourn to a minor-league deal, reports Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports.

The Braves acquired Bourn and Nick Swisher from the Indians in August in a trade for infielder Chris Johnson. The Braves released both Bourn and Swisher three weeks ago.

Bourn, 33, has played for the Phillies, Astros, Braves and Indians over his 10-year MLB career and has a career batting average of .266 with 326 stolen bases.

The Braves will still pay Bourn’s $14 million salary this season.

The Blue Jays are in second place in the AL East with an 8–9 record to start the season.
