Spoofs have always been a major part of Telugu films and comedy films even used to have separate spoof tracks from hit films. This was seen in director Srinu Vaitla 's films like Dookudu, Aagadu and Baadshah where spoofs played a major role. Now, the director is going to repeat his spoof idea once again in his upcoming film titled Mister. Vaitla has not been having a good run recently as his last few films have flopped. So this film could change his luck at the box office.

Mister will reportedly have a spoof on the Nagarjuna - Karthi bi-lingual film Oopiri. Directed by Srinu Vaitla the movie stars Varun Tej, Lavanya Tripati and Hebah Patel in the lead roles. This will also be the first time that Varun Tej is doing a major comedy sequence. He has done some serious roles in his previous films and this will be a change for the audience as well.  It will be interesting to see who will play the role of Nag in the spoof as it has to be done carefully so as not to hurt  Akkineni fans.

The shooting of Mister will begin from May 15th in Spain and continue for one month. Currently, Srinu Vaitla along with his co-writers Gopi Mohan and Sreedhar Seepana, are working on its script in Ooty. Mickey J Meyer is composing its tunes while Tagore Madhu and Nallamalupu Bujji are producing this film.
