The actress informs that she has a script narration every second day but has no plans of getting back to the rat race.
'I'm not in the career building phase, my family is a happy one not dysfunctional. I just want to have fun with my kids and experiment with roles I haven't tried before. I have had releases back-to-back on Fridays and shot 20 hours a day, now my priorities are different. I'm being realistic and not insecure about the new faces," she asserts.
'Maatr' is about women in the hinterlands who face horrific violence. 'Rapes happen so often that people now refer to them casually. Take the case of Jyoti Pandey aka Nirbhaya. The 17-year-old juvenile was old enough to rape her but not old enough to be punished. He was rehabilitated instead. Our film talks about our attitude to such cases. I was in tears after reading the script and at times, before the shots as well, because I knew what we were going to film. It's being shot in Delhi and Haryana," she informs.
