CFSI to hold children’s film festival

Children’s Film Society of India (CFSI) is organising a four-day ‘summer bonanza of children’s films’ between April 23 and 26.

Some of the acclaimed films produced by the CFSI will be screened at the state-of-the-art screening theatres at Films Division Complex at Pedder Road in South Mumbai, says an official release here on Thursday.

A similar three-day event will be held in Delhi, where the films will be screened at the Siri Fort auditorium during the same period. Information and Broadcasting secretary, Sunil Arora, said: “CFSI has been producing landmark children’s films over the past 60 years, and some of them have won national and international awards.” CFSI will screen some of its most popular films like Gattu , Krish , Trish & Batliboy , Pappu ki Pagdandi, Mizo feature film Kima’s Lode and Shilpa Ranade’s animation film Gopi Gawaiya, Bagha Bajaiya . —PTI
