It is going to be a father and son affair tomorrow at La Rouge in Westgate when Bob Nyabinde is set to share the stage with his look-alike son Aggabu Nyabinde.

The two have proved to be a strong combination whenever they share the stage.

In an interview “The Headmaster”, as Nyabinde is popularly known in the entertainment circles said he is very proud of his son who has decided to keep his legacy on and promised a night filled with fun.

“I just love it when I see my son on stage. He is so passionate about music and it gives me great pleasure to perform alongside him,” he said.

He also highlighted that as has become the norm whenever they perform together, his son will be the first on stage.

“I am going to give him some time to showcase his talent alone before I join him and perform one or two songs that we did together including “Anzwa Hama” that is on my latest album and some tracks that are on his album that I also feature on.

“It is going to be exciting, we have a lot in store for our fans,” he said.

On the other hand Aggabu who is excited to perform alongside his father has promised a polished act.

“I take every show as a lesson from The Headmaster because I get to learn a lot from him, not only as a father but also as my boss and mentor.

“The stage has always been an atmosphere where we interact at a different levels altogether. I get to feel like I’m more of his friend than a son and I feel very lucky to have such a relationship,” he said.

La Rouge entertainment manager Tafadzwa Makoto said since the time The Headmaster performed at the official opening of the joint, he has proved to be the people’s favourite and he is back by public demand.

“Our joint attracts a mature crowd, those senior citizens, and they are more into jazz. Bob has proved their favourite, so we have no option but to have him perform here several times,” he said.
