The dacoit Veerappan's life is an open book but what about his wife?
The 'Bhootnath Returns' actress Usha Jadhav will be seen playing real-life dacoit and smuggler Veerappan's wife Muthulakshmi, in a film titled 'Veerappan' directed by Ram Gopal Varma. Ask her how she bagged a role in a RGV film and she credits her cell phone. "One evening, Ramu sir messaged me and the next thing I know I was a part of his project.He was ready with the look, brief and character sketch. He made the process of becoming the character simpler for me," shares Usha.

Usha is all praises for RGV's research and analytical skills. She adds, "I have always played fictional characters. However, Muthulakshmi is a real person and very much alive. So, the toughest part was to make sure I play the role well. The character portrayal on screen is a combined research by Ramu sir and me."
She was also seen in a Marathi film 'Dhag' in 2012 and is open to offers from the industry. "For now, I am looking at Hindi projects. However, if I come across a Marathi project, then I will definitely take it up."
