Bengal Poll : Finance Minister Mitra & his predecessor Dasgupta lock horns for Khardah seat

Kolkata, Apr 21 (UNI) West Bengal Finance Minister Dr Amit Mitra and his predecessor Dr Asim Dasgupta have again locked horns in the prestigious battle-of-ballots in the impending state assembly elections from the Khardah constituency in North 24 Parganas district that goes to the polls on April 25.
While Mr Mitra is seeking re-election on the ruling AITC ticket former Finance Minister Dasgupta is in the fray as nominee of the Congress-Left Front combine. Besides the two stalwarts BJP candidate Mahadeb Basak is also trying to convert the contest a triangular affair.
