‘Employees deserve a share in profits’

Prof. P.S. Rao, emeritus professor, Prince L.N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Mumbai and Dean - Quality Systems and New Business Initiatives has said that in the current corporate business world, triple bottom lines — Profit, People and Planet —the concern for people that is employees are emerging challenge to the managements.

Delivering a lecturer at Department of Management Studies (DoMS) to MBA students on “Emerging issues and challenges in human resources management and strategic managements” on Wednesday here, he said that employees were playing an important role in generating profits to a business organisation and deserved a share in the profits. He has also said that, in the present business world strategic approach i.e. controlling actions, should be initiated as and when the situation demands and contingency planning should be evolved for the continuous survival and growth.

Vice-Chancellor M. Mutyalu Naidu and Registrar E.N. Dhanamjaya Rao, and head of DOMS S. Teki lauded the services of Prof. Rao and felicitated him.
