Here comes the Doom with this BFG 9000 gun made out of Lego

A YouTuber known for building famous movie and video game weapons out of Legos re-creates one of gaming's biggest [censored] guns.

The first Doom game, released way back in 1993, introduced some of the most iconic weapons in the history of the first-person shooter genre, like the Chaingun, the Plasma Rifle and the chainsaw. They were so fun to use they set a new standard for players who enjoy carving up their opponents into tiny, bite-size chunks.

However, they pale in comparison with the awesome power of the BFG 9000. This massive weapon could obliterate your enemies with heat-seeking balls of deadly plasma and all you had to do was stand in front of them and pull the trigger. It's the Ronco Showtime Rotisserie of killing machines. You just set it, forget it and watch your enemies get beheaded.

Now that a new Doom game is heading our way on May 13, a whole new generation of gamers will get to experience the efficiency of the BFG 9000. Lego builder ZaziNombies celebrated the return of gaming's most powerful firearm by building one out of his favorite plastic building blocks. He posted a video on his YouTube channel on Saturday to showcase his newest deadly creation.

ZaziNombies says in the video that this is the biggest weapon he's ever built out of Legos. It's more than 3 feet (almost a meter) long, weighs just under 20 pounds (about 10 kilograms) and took more than 5,000 Lego pieces to put together. The model is so big and heavy that when he picks it up, it leaves little Lego brick indentations in his skin. That's a big freakin' gun model.
