Kin of court blast accused shot at

Chhapra: In an act of daredevilry, three motorcycle-borne criminals on Wednesday shot at and injured three members of the family of Dharmendra Rai, who had allegedly dropped Khusboo at Chhapra civil court on Monday before the bomb she was carrying in her handbag exploded.
Khushboo and two others were injured in the blast. Both Khushboo and Dharmendra had criminal antecedents.
The three criminals reached Dharmendra's house at village Minapur under Garkha PS area on Wednesda, inquired from his father Ram Nath Rai about his whereabouts and fired at his family members before leaving the village. They also fired in the air to terrorize the villagers.
Police sources said Ram Nath Rai (50), his wife Phoolmati Devi (45) and their unmarried daughter Sunita (18) sustained injuries in the firing. "They were referred to PMCH," a police official said. Saran SP Pankaj Kumar Raj said, "We can reach any conclusion after proper investigation whether the incident has any connection with the Monday bomb blast or not."
boo, in her statement, revealed that Dharmendra had dropped her at the court. "We raided the house of Dharmendra on Tuesday night but he was not there," said a police officer.
