'Wonder Woman' Movie News: Movie to Boast of More Amazonian Might and Beauty as Supermodel Doutzen Kroes Joins the Cast

Gal Gadot's upcoming standalone "Wonder Woman" movie will surely be not just a showcase of Amazonian might and power but an ensemble of beauties, too, as Warner Bros. has included Dutch supermodel and former Victoria Secret's model Doutzen Kroes in the cast as one of the Amazon warriors in the film.

No less than Wonder Woman herself, Gadot, made the confirmation as she posted a photo of her along with the Dutch beauty and actress Connie Nielsen, who plays Queen Hippolyta and Wonder Woman's mother, while having a meal together.

With the addition of Kroes in the cast, fans of the DC female superhero can look forward to a wide array of beauties featured in the film as headed by Gadot, who was a beauty queen herself and competed as Miss Israel in the 2004 Miss Universe pageant, which was won by Australia's Jennifer Hawkins.

Apart from the mentioned, fans can expect to see more beauties in the film as "Wonder Woman" will explore the origin of the Amazonian female superhero in Themyscira, her home island hidden from men's world. As men are strictly forbidden in Themyscira, it is sure that scenes featuring the fictional place will ooze with beautiful and strong Amazonian warriors.

However, there is more to the "Wonder Woman" movie other than the beautiful actresses who will breathe life to various Amazon characters. It must be noted that Gadot's portrayal of the most iconic DC female superhero in the movie "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has earned praises from the fans and critics alike despite her limited appearance, with many dubbing her as the movie's scene stealer and the real highlight of the film.

With the news saying that upcoming DC superhero films will be more fun and entertaining after the changes that happened in Warner Bros., Gadot said that the upcoming "Wonder Woman" movie will still maintain a dark tone with bits of humor into it. However, with the presence of many beautiful actresses joining the cast, beauty will surely outshine its dark tone.
