GWADAR: A man kidnapped from his house on the outskirts of Panjgur on Monday night was found dead on Tuesday, police said.

A group of armed men barged into the house of Mullah Murad Ali in Easai Sundesar and took him away.

Police and local administration were informed about the body dumped in an abandoned area and police shifted it to the district hospital.

The body, identified as that of Mullah Murad Ali, had marks of multiple bullet injuries. “He was hit in head and chest,” hospital sources said. The cause of the killing could not be ascertained.

Meanwhile, personnel of Frontier Corps and an intelligence agency raided Siahan, a mountainous area used by militants, and seized arms and ammunition. The arms seized included rockets, rocket launchers, fuse and a large quantity of rounds of AK-47.
