Actress Mishti Chakraborty, who rose to fame with Bollywood movie "Kaanchi: The Unbreakable," is rumoured to be romancing Mollywood superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran in his next movie "Adam."

Reports said that the actress will make her debut in Malayalam films through the Jinu Joseph directorial, in which Prithviraj portrays the role of a high range planter named Adam John Pothen. Mishti, who has also acted in Telugu films "Chinnadana Nee Kosam" and "Columbus," will reportedly be seen as a Keralite named Hannah, based in Fort Kochi. The movie also has Miya in the lead role.

"I took up Adam as Prithviraj is the hero. I am fortunate to get an opportunity to work with an actor of his calibre. Also, the film has a wonderful and unusual love story," Mishti, who is currently working for her third Telugu movie, told the Times of India.

"Adam" is said be shot mainly in Mundakkayam, Scotland and Kochi. The upcoming family thriller is the directorial venture of debutant Jinu, who has also scripted Prithviraj's movies "Masters" and "London Bridge." While Jomon T John handles the cinematography, the music will be done by debutant William Francis and Renjan Abraham takes care of the editing. "Adam" is being produced by CS Stanly and Jose Simon under the banner of Mass Media Productions.

Meanwhile, Prithviraj, who was last seen in Jijo Antony's "Darvinte Parinamam," is awaiting the release of Sujith Vaassudev's "James and Alice," which is poised to hit the screens on April 29. He is currently busy with the shooting of the revenge thriller "Oozham," directed by Jeethu Joseph. The actor has also announced a handful of upcoming projects, including James Kottakal's "Beautiful Game," Pradeep M Nair's "Vimaanam," Rosshan Andrews' "Naale Ravile," RS Vimal's "Karnan," Jayakrishnan's "Ezra," Blessy's "Aadujeevitham" and epic drama "Kunchirakkottu Kaali," among many others.
