Recently, Sany Group Zhuhai Industrial Park distributed grid-connected PV power generation demonstration construction project, the first roof distributed PV EPC project of China Machinery International Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. (CMIE), was officially started. It marks another move of CMIE in the PV field after the large ground PV EPC project, showing that CMIE has long-term development goals in mind and is actively seeking opportunities for investing in distributed PV power generation projects that are more valued by national policies. The start of the project indicates that the PV power station EPC business of CMIE has formed a scale effect with increasing influence on the industry and the company has embarked on a new journey in the field of distributed PV. Distributed PV power generation features cleanness, high efficiency and dispersed layout and can be developed in light of local conditions, representing the trend of the PV sector in the future.

Located at Gaolan Port, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, the project has a total installed capacity of 4.4MWp. By relying on its rich experience in ground PV projects, CMIE went in the preparatory stage, involving negotiations, establishment of project team, determination of plan and construction drawing design. Since the project has a short time limit and high requirements, all members of the project office gave up their spare time, made preparations in advance and overcame various difficulties to ensure that the project starts on time and smoothly. The project is now in progress and has been highly praised by the owner and the supervisor.

Besides this project, CMIE Sany Changsha Industrial Park No. 18 plant and Sany Ningxiang Industrial Park roof PV project will start in the middle of March, and the company's six industrial parks in Xingsha, Lianyuan, Shaoyang, Loudi, Changde and Yiyang are in early-stage preparations, with a total installed capacity of 30MWp.

It is a great challenge for the Engineering Design Research Institute to carry out more than one projects simultaneously in terms of organizational management and human resources. To ensure successful operation of the project, the Engineering Design Research Institute actively responded to the call of the company and the Integrated Research Institute, and organized a project execution team consisting of the Engineering Design Research Institute, the Equipment and Automation Engineering Institute, Integrated Design Institute and Electric Power Engineering Institute for multi-sector cooperation.
