Delhi: Celebratory firing kills girl

A twelfth standard girl succumbed to her injuries on Monday after she was shot at during celebratory firing at a wedding procession in Delhi's Mongolpuri area.

Anjali was critically injured last Saturday after she was shot at as she watched the wedding procession pass by.

After she was rushed to the hospital, it was revealed that she had been hit on the head by a stray bullet that had been fired by one of the celebrating wedding revellers.

According to reports, a case has been registered against the cousin of the groom at the wedding who had allegedly fled from the scene after the incident.
