Financial assistance given

As part of 70{+t}{+h}anniversary celebrations, the State Bank of Travancore gave away financial assistance to Matha Vanitha Charitable Society, Pettah.

The Kshema Social Circle of SBT, zonal office, donated money to the society in recognition of its service to destitute patients admitted at ward 9 of the Government General Hospital here.

The society had been providing free food to patients for the last 16 years. General Manager of SBT M. Devi Prasad handed over the assistance to patron of Matha Vanitha Charitable Society M. Radhakrishna Pillai at a function here.
