Vadodara: Eight persons were injured when a Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) bus collided head-on with a gas tanker and overturned near Paravdi near Godhra on Monday.
Nearly 40 passengers were travelling the bus that was going from Dahod to Ahmedabad and had over 40 passengers.
Sources said that the injured were taken to the Godhra Civil Hospital in 108 emergency services ambulances.
Two of them were seriously wounded and shifted to private hospitals later.
The incident had led to panic on the highway and the police rushed to the spot to ensure traffic was not affected.
The gas tanker had remained intact and no leakage was reported from it. Only the driver's cabin of the tanker was damaged due to the impact of the collision.
