Hyderabad: Mr. Javeed Akram, President of District Wakf Committee of Nizamabad in a press conference held at Guest House, Bada Pahad, Nizamabad informed that the Urs of Dargah Hazrath Syed Saadullah Husaini will start today. The arrangement for the Urs have been finalized under the stewardship of Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel, IAS, Secretary, Dept. of Minorities Welfare and Competent Authority of Telangana Wakf Board and Mr. Mohammed Asadullah, CEO of Telangana State Wakf Board. Rs. 10 lakh has been sanctioned for the white wash, repairs, electricity and water works.
The poster of the Urs was released yesterday. He recalled that Minister belonging to the district, Mr. Pocharam Srinivas Reedy had promised that Rs. 1.56 crore would be sanctioned for promoting Dargah Bada Pahad as a tourist spot but the present Govt. is neglectin this issue. It is very regrettable that MP from Nizamabad District, Ms. K. Kavitha and Minister, Mr. Pocharam Srinivas Reddy did not visit Dargah Bada Pahad so far. CM of Telangana State, Mr. K. Chandrasekhara Rao visited Banswada Assembly constituency but did not visit Dargah Bada Pahad. He lamented that Minority leader of TRS are also neglecting the development of this Dargah. He complained that on the occasion of CM’s visit to Banswada, Minority leaders of TRS did not invite the attention of the CM to visit Bada Pahad.
Mr. Javeed Akram impressed upon the TRS members belonging to Nizamabad to participate in the Urs celebrations of Dargah Bada Pahad to prove their devotion.
