Arrested terrorist also involved in planning of attack on Pervez Musharraf, SUPARCO employees bus

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Terrorists apprehended from the Rizvia area of Karachi by the police and intelligence agencies confessed their involvement in the attack carried out on a church in Rawalpindi, reported Dunya News.

According to the interrogation report issued by the law enforcement agencies, the arrested terrorists belong to the Shahid-ur-Rehman group of a banned outfit. The terrorists namely Mufti Fida and Maulvi Saeed confessed that they brainwashed the terrorist who conducted the suicide blast at the church in Rawalpindi.

The report also states that the terrorists Muazz Noor and Abdul Haq were stationed to obtain information in regards to a number of individuals who were to be murdered through target killing. These two along with other terrorists namely Zafar Iqbal, Khurshid Khan, Sajid, Nazeer used to collect funds for banned organisations.

Apprehended terrorist Junaid-ur-Rehman confessed his involvement in the planning of the attacks on former president Pervez Musharraf and the firing on the bus of SUPARCO employees. Junaid is also believed to be the leader of the arrested gang.
