Guwahati-bound Druk Air flight with 90 passengers onboard has narrow escape

The passengers of Druk Air flight from Paro to Guwahati had a narrow escape today when the plane was hit by a hailstorm during its final approach.

Druk Air Flight KB 140, with 90 passengers onboard, was on its way from Paro in Bhutan to Guwahati airport when it was hit by heavy hailstorm over Garo Hills of Meghalaya.

The pilots managed to make a safe landing despite damage to aircraft’s nose and right engine.
