Sampling the Boston food scene for Taste of the Nation

Joanne ChangMichael Harlan Turkell

It’s a culinary riddle: Where can you enjoy nibbles from hot spots like Alden & Harlow, Myers & Chang, Oleana, Row 34, Tiger Mama, and Uni — all in the same evening? Why, at Taste of the Nation, of course. Tickets are on sale now for the highest-profile charity feast of the year, which supports Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign to end childhood hunger. Taniya Nayak from the Food Network’s “Restaurant: Impossible” emcees the savory soiree alongside honorary chefs Jody Adams, Joanne Chang, Gordon Hamersley, Andy Husbands, and Tony Maws. Sample dishes from roughly 40 of the city’s best restaurants, quaff cocktails, and enjoy waterfront views at Cruiseport Boston (1 Black Falcon Ave.). All of the proceeds directly support the No Kid Hungry campaign, devoted to helping the more than 270,000 kids in Massachusetts alone who struggle with hunger. The party starts at 7 p.m. on June 7. General admission tickets are $95; get them at ce.strength.org/events/taste-nation-boston.
