The league tournament features seven of the nation's top 40 teams in both the GolfWeek and GolfStat rankings. The Wolfpack is coming off an idle week after playing in the Bryan National Collegiate at the beginning of April. Prior to that, NC State posted a top-5 showing at an LSU Golf Classic event that featured nine nationally-ranked teams.

This year's tournament will mark the eighth consecutive spring the league championship has been held at Sedgefield, which is also the site of the PGA Tour's Wyndham Open. Fans following the tournament on social media are encouraged to use the hashtag #ACCWGolf.

Following the ACC league tourney, the Wolfpack will await its NCAA Championship fate. The four NCAA Regionals are set for May 5-7 at Baton Rouge, La., Stanford, Calif., Bryan, Texas, and Shoal Creek, Ala.
