Shanthnu-Keerthi celebrate first Tamil New Year after marriage

Today is doubly special for actor Shanthnu Bhagyaraj and TV anchor Keerthi (who got married last August), as they are celebrating both Vishu and Tamil New Year together for the first time. They have a packed day ahead as they are set to welcome Tamil New Year with Shanthnu���s family and celebrate Vishu with Keerthi���s family.
Shanthnu says, ���We started our celebrations from from thala Onam, we have celebrated thala Deepavali, thala Pongal and now it���s our thala Tamil New Year and Vishu.All these festivals have been very special to us, and it has helped us to know each other���s families better, and understand each other���s cultures. After celebrating Tamil New Year at our home with dad and mom, we are heading to Keerthi���s place to have the sumptuous Vishu sadhya. Post lunch, we will be watching Theri.���
The actor, who is busy shooting for Mupparimanam adds, ���This year also marks a new beginning in my film career as I have couple of interesting projects lined up for release.���
Keerthi says that Vishu has always been her favourite festival. ���We not only get blessings from the elders, but they give us money, too, in the form of vishukaineetam,��� she laughs, adding, ���As we are celebrating two festivals on the same day, we will be really busy meeting both our family members and friends.���
