Freshslice Pizza opens 3rd Kelowna, British Columbia, store

Freshslice Pizza has opened its third Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, store, according to a company press release. The restaurant is located at 975 Academy Way, adjacent to the University of British Columbia's Kelowna campus.

"With the economic climate and marketing environment present in the Okanagan Valley we felt this was an ideal new location as we continue to build our market share. This new location joins our existing three successful locations in the region," said Ray Russell, founder and CEO of Freshslice Pizza.

Freshslice was recently nominated "Best Pizza" in the Best of Kelowna, an annual celebration that celebrates the city's favorite businesses in a number of categories. Voting starts May 2 for this annual award.

"We are so excited to have this location open and serve UBCO along with everyone in the neighborhood," said Malia Khan-Sidd, the new Freshslice franchise partner. "This is one of our greatest achievements in the Okanagan. As I remember that Audrey Hepburn once said 'Nothing is impossible, the word itself says I'm Possible!'
