April 11, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:47 am IST - NAGERCOIL:

The People’s Welfare Front (PWF) was nothing but anti-people’s front, said national executive committee member of BJP C.P. Radhakrishnan here on Sunday.

Inaugurating an election office of the BJP at Chettikulam-Sarguna Veedhi junction here, Mr. Radhakrishnan said that the Central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi was giving a transparent and corruption-less governance.

“The BJP is the only party that has the guts to bring total prohibition in the State, as the party has already implemented total prohibition in Gujarat,” he said.

The country was marching ahead in industrial development and agricultural revolution under the NDA government, he said.

The BJP and its electoral partner IJK were contesting in all the 234 constituencies, he added.

BJP district president Kumaradoss and Nagercoil BJP candidate M.R. Gandhi accompanied Mr. Radhakrishnan.

In the evening, Mr. Radakrishnan addressed a public meeting in Kottaram supporting Kanyakumari BJP candidate B. Meena Dev.
