Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Apr 10 2016 12:38PM Music Varsity plans to bring gurukula system for music teachingMysuru, Apr 10 (UNI) The Karnataka State Dr Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University is contemplating of introducing the ‘gurukula’ system to teach music and performing arts to students at Dharmapura village in Hunsuru taluk. Dedicated students will be selected to be trained in the gurukula system and the university will appoint teachers who have both practical and theoretical knowledge in music and performing arts.
