The state government has constituted a draft plan for establishing planned colonies for the Gujjar community in different parts of the state.
According to an official order issued by the General Administration Department, the five-member committee will be headed by the Financial Commissioner, Planning and Development Department.
According to government order number 322-GAD of 2016, dated April 6, issued by Gazzanfer Hussain, a sanction has been accorded to the constitution of the committee comprising five members to examine and draw up a draft plan to consolidate scattered habitations for establishing new planned colonies for the Gujjar community.
The committee shall be serviced by the Planning and Development Department and submit its report within one month positively.
