haryana-logoThe Haryana Government has issued transferred seven IAS officers with immediate effect resulting in a new posting for senior IAS officer Ashok Khemka.

Khemka, Principal Secretary and Director General of Archaeology and Museums, will now be the Principal Secretary of Science and Technology Department replacing Dhanpat Singh, according to an official release.

“It has been done after a long delay,” Khemka, a 1991-batch IAS officer, promoted to the rank of Principal Secretary in January, said. Later he mentioned in his tweet that there has been a 99-day delay in his elevation to the rank of Principal Secretary.


The other officers being assigned new role are:

Dhanpat Singh has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary of Medical Education and Research in place of  Krishna Kumar Khandelwal.


Anil Malik, Chief Administrator, Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board, has been posted as Principal Secretary, Fisheries, relieving Varinder Singh Kundu of the charge, and he has also been given the charge of Chief Administrator, Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board.

Apoorva Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary – Personnel, Training Vigilance and Parliamentary Affairs, Director General, Training (Ex-officio) and Inquiry Officer, Vigilance, will now take charge of Principal Secretary, Technical Education, relieving Dheera Khandewal of the charge.

Abhilaksh Likhi, Director General and Principal Secretary – Information, Public Relations and Cultural Affairs, Languages and Grievances and Hospitality, has been posted as Principal Secretary – Animal Husbandry and Dairying in place of Varinder Singh Kundu of the charge. 

Neerja, who was waiting for orders of posting, has been posted as Secretary – Personnel, Training, Vigilance and Parliamentary Affairs.

A Sreenivas has been posted as Managing Director, Haryana Electronics Development Corporation (HARTRON), relieving Vijayendra Kumar of the charge, and as Director, Supplies and Disposals, in addition, against a vacant post.
