JAMMU, Apr 8: A delegation of PHDCCI Jammu committee today had an interactive meeting with Ashok Kumar Jha, DGM, National Highways Infrastructure and Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDCL) in his office chamber.
The delegation presented a memorandum asking for immediate commencement of work for four laning of Jammu-Akhnoor Highway and upgradation of Batote-Kishtwar Highway.
Jha and Pushp Dev Narayan, Manager, NHDCL explained that the entire exercise of tendering for DPR is already in progress and actual construction work would commence within the next 9 to 10 months.
The delegation was led by Vikrant Kuthiala, Chairman. Others who accompanied included Kuldeep Gupta, Sanjay Aggrawal, Ajay Gandotra, Prashant Mathur and Surinder Nayar.
