The Karnataka Koli Samaj will celebrate the 64 birth anniversary of backward class leader and former legislator Vittal Heroor at his native village of Deval Ganagapur in Afzalpur taluk, Kalaburagi, on Sunday.
Thippanna Kamakanur, president of the Samaj, told reporters that Minister for Textiles and Inland Ports, Baburao Chinchansur would inauguration the celebrations. An audio CD, narrating instances from the life and contributions of Mr. Heroor, will be released on the occasion. A felicitation ceremony for newly elected ZP and TP members too will be held.
