Actress Kangana Ranaut has continuously been in the news over the past few weeks. While she made headlines for winning the National Award for her performance in Aanand L Rai's 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns,' her legal battle with actor Hrithik Roshan too kept her in the limelight.
But now, the 'Queen' star is all set to be back to what she enjoys the most ' acting.
As per a source, Kangana is all set to commence shoot for director Hansal Mehta's 'Simran' in the United States of America next month (May 2016). This will be her first association with the acclaimed filmmaker, whose last film 'Aligarh' won a lot of critical acclaim.

Kangana plays the title role in 'Simran.' While not much is revealed about the film, the 'Tanu Weds Manu' actress is said to be playing a negative character who is based out of US and comes from a Gujarati background. Currently, Hansal and his team are in the US for the recce of the film.
