West Indian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has criticized the the West Indies Cricket Board, saying “even BCCI does more” for them compared to the WICB.
According to Zee News report, Bravo said that Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) does more for them as compared to their own board.
"The country's cricket is not in right hands. We have not got a telephone call from any of the WICB officials or directors. That's not a good thing. We know that they did not want or believe that we could win this tournament. It was basically us against them. Even the BCCI does more for us," Bravo told the 'Star Sports' in a post-final interview.
“We know that they did not want or believe that we could win this tournament. It was basically us against them. Even the BCCI does more for us,” he added.
Earlier, West Indies skipper Darren Sammy was also disappointed that he did not get any response from the West Indies Cricket Board.
However, West Indies defeated England by 6 wickets to become the only team to have clinched two ICC World Twenty20 titles.
