With Aerosmith on permanent vacation — or at least indefinite hiatus — singer Steven Tyler is plotting his next move. The Aerosmith frontman, who fancies himself a country artist these days, is apparently planning series of shows beginning with a benefit for Janie’s Fund at Lincoln Center May 2. (Tyler created Janie’s Fund to help young women overcome the trauma of child abuse.) According to Rolling Stone, the show will include stories from Tyler’s childhood and the decades spent with Aerosmith. “I’m digging deep and finding some real buried treasure for this one. I’ve never performed quite like this before,” he told RS. “I’m telling it like it is and getting to perform with some extremely talented musicians and dear friends from Nashville.”
