When stuck in a massive traffic jam on the Gachibowli Flyover, Sundeep Kishen runs into
Nithya Menen. And thats how their love story begins in
Oka Ammayi Thappa.
This love story is definitely zara hatke. I play a street smart college dropout while Nithya plays a college girl. Sparks fly when they bump into each other on the Gachibowli Flyover, bang in the middle of a huge traffic jam, says Sundeep, adding, The film plays out over two days August 14 and 15.
Situations that crop up and how the duo deals with them is what the film is all about.
The actor also reveals that a major portion of the film has been shot on the flyover. This meant a lot of permissions and also tactful scheduling. Close to 60 per cent of the film is shot on the flyover. That meant we had to take special permissions. We would start the shoot on Saturday at 10.30 pm and it would go on till 1 pm on Sunday. We shot there for four weekends, Sundeep says, adding that the rest of the film is also shot in and around Hyderabad.
