Vinay Rajkumar’s much-anticipated second film Run Antony , an action thriller, has wound up its shoot on March 25. It’s been shot on picturesque locations in Kudremukh, Bidar, Kalasa. The film looks like it’s slated for a May-end release. Vinay, who is the third generation of actors from the Rajkumar family — he is veteran Kannada actor Rajkumar’s grandson, and Raghavendra Rajkumar’s son — debuted with Siddhartha , a campus love story.
Being from a family that was deeply immersed in films, Vinay Rajkumar started his on-screen career early, predictably as a child artiste. He acted with his grandfather in movies like Odahuttidavaru and Aakasmika . Later with his father, he starred in Anuragada Alegalu , and with his uncle Shivarajkumar in Om and Hrudaya Hrudaya .
Run Antony , which co-stars southern film actor Rukhsar, is directed by debutant Raghu Shashtry, who has worked with Bollywood’s famed director Anurag Kashyap before. Music is by Manikanth Kadri, son of legendary saxophonist Kadri Gopalnath. It’s produced by the family’s own production house — Vajreshwari Combines.
