YEREVAN. – Artsrun Hovhannisyan, the press secretary of the Minister of Defense of Armenia, has shown the Israeli-made Harop unmanned combat air vehicles, which Azerbaijan is using in its current aggression against Nagorno-Karabakh.
“Here, the striking drones used by Azerbaijan,” Hovhannisyan wrote on his Facebook account.
Earlier, the Karabakh side had informed that it destroyed several Azerbaijani unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Harop drone is considered a weapon in itself. It is designed to loiter the battlefield and attack targets—when they move or start maneuvering—by self-destructing into them.
