Court sends Chhotu Vasava ‘s son Kishor to custody

Janata Dal United (JDU) MLA Chhotu Vasava’s son Kishor Vasava has been sent to police custody by Ankleshwar Sessions Court.

About 7 years back Kishor had attacked a Congress worker Balubhai Patel. Ankleshwar District and Sessions Court had issued arrest warrant against Kishor Vasava in this case on 28 March this year.

In September 2009, Kishor Vasava had attack Jhagadia based Congress worker Balubhai Vasava due to political rivalry. Jhagadia police had booked Kishor in this case in connection of which Kishor had got anticipatory bail from Sessions Court on 2 January 2014. As police went to the High Court last July to cancel the lower court order, Vasava’s anticipatory bail was canceled and he was asked to surrender before the investigative officer in three weeks. Kishor went to Supreme Court in Special Leave to Appeal against the High Court order where his appeal was rejected.

Government lawyer P.B. Pandya produced Supreme Court order in Ankleshwar district and sessions court following which arrest warrant was issued against him on 28 March.

Vasava was booked earlier too in various offenses. A complaint was filed against Kishor, wife Krupa, brother Mahesh and Vadodara based Rajesh Bikhu Khachar along with Chanderia’s Talati and Jhaghadia Sub Registrar in Valia police station by Navinchandra Amin of Kandari village in Karjan taluka of Vadodara district for land documents through bogus power of attorney.

Vasava was in the past also arrested by Athva police in Surat for harboring a murder case accused in 2004. He was accused of harboring one Faruk who was wanted by police in year 2001 Surti and Mithi gang war in Surat in which one person was killed.

Kishor was also arrested for violent act in Jhaghadia.

He was also arrested by GIDC police in February 2014 after five persons arrested with illegal arms revealed his name for his involvement.
