Kansai Airports finalises acquisition of Kansai and Osaka Itami airports

Vinci Airports finalised (01-Apr-2016) the JPY260 billion (USD2.3 billion) contract to operate Kansai and Osaka Itami airports under the consortium formed with Orix and other minority investors. The consortium, Kansai Airports, assumed responsibility on 01-Apr-2016. As previously reported by CAPA, Vinci Airports and Orix each hold 40% stake, while minority shareholder companies hold the remaining 20%. The contract lasts for 44 years. [more - original PR]
