Last Updated 03 April 2016, 18:37 IST

Singer Vasu Dixit, the front man of popular local band, ‘Swarathma’, will perform with his wife and vocalist Bindhumalini Narayanaswamy on April 8, 9 pm at BFlat, Indiranagar.

They will be accompanied by musicians such as Abhilash Lakra on keys, Ashish Minz on guitars, Grace Biswas on the violin and cello, Ashwin Walawalkar on harmonium and Shreekanta Swamy on the drums and percussion.

There will be an early set by singer/songwriter Khalid Ahamed, front man of the Kashmiri/Urdu psychedelic rock band ‘Parvaaz’.

He will perform a solo set with his acoustic guitar.
Vasu Dixit’s lyrics speak of his sensitive engagement with life while his stage act speaks of the natural showman that he is.

His way of experimenting with tunes in Hindi, Kannada, English and Punjabi has steered ‘Swarathma’ toward great success.

Bindhumalini is a singer whose biggest asset is her soulful voice.
She is trained both in Carnatic and Hindustani classical music. She also enjoys performing works by Sufi saints of India.

This collaboration of Bindhu and Vasu is more than a musical one as it promises to be an expression of the togetherness they share in real life.
It will be told in tunes, melodies and more.
