Pooja Chopra: Can't keep waiting for 'Commando 2'

Vidyut Jamwal-starrer 'Commando - A One Man Army' was one of the sleeper hits of 2013. The film's unexpected success forced the producers to reconsider a sequel. The sequel was planned with much enthusiasm right after the movie's release. In April 2013, Vipul Shah, the film's producer, had even spoken about bringing in Akshay Kumar to help with 'Commando 2' as a consultant and adviser.Then in 2015, Former Miss India Pooja Chopra, who made her Bollywood debut with 'Commando', had said that she would love to do some action scenes as well, something she couldn't in the first instalment.

However, there hasn't been much development on the front till date, something that has left Pooja a little miffed. The actress, indicates that she might have moved on from the project. When asked about the latest updates on 'Commando 2', Pooja said, 'I have no idea what is up with that. That's a good question actually, one that even I'd want to ask. We were told that the sequel was happening, but it's been three years now, and you cannot hold everything for three years and keep sitting and waiting for a film to happen. You need to do other things after a while. You just can't keep waiting because anyway actresses have limited shelf lives, so you have to make hay while the sun shines!'
