Reba McEntire has become her own manager after separating from former management company, Starstruck Entertainment, following her divorce from Narvel Blackstock, Starstruck's president and CEO.
As president of Reba's Business Incorporated (RBI), McEntire will handle her own career alongside associate manager/tour manager Carolyn Snell, brand manager Leslie Matthews and controller Theresa Connelly. Justin McIntosh will work with both RBI and Starstruck Entertainment, as vice president of creative and marketing.
"I thought it was a good time now to break free from management," McEntine revealed. "My team at Starstruck, which is now RBI, joined together and had a powwow at lunch, [brainstorming] ideas. Then we took our list to [my label] Nash Icon, and they were so excited because we were willing to do things that we hadn't got to do before. If there was something they asked for in the past, [let's] bring it up again."
RBI will operate out of 40 Music Square West, the same location as Starstruck.
